Amazon plans to launch an e-book buying and reading application for iPhones
Amazon is scheduled to present an application program for the iPhone that will enable people to purchase and download eBooks, outside of its homegrown Kindle ecosystem. This Amazon application for iPhone will be downloadable at no cost. Amazon Application will also keep record of your page throughout a Kindle and an iPhone, therefore no more questioning where you stop using. There is a big competition in the market within similar kinds of products like Indigo Books and Shortcovers, and Google some months ago also released a free mobile products.
For the time being, this Amazon application for iPhone is not available other than America, probably for licensing reasons.
